Sketch by Didier Gomez
It was a few years back when I first saw the Sketch Sofa by Didier Gomez for Ligne Roset and it is still one of my favorite sofa designs. Unfortunately it has been discontinued now, but I still love it.
It was the first sofa that I saw make excellent use of two-tone upholstery and not make it look dated or trite. It had a sleek modern look but didn’t stray too far from classic comfort and shape. Its versatility was evident in the way it seamlessly worked into Ligne Roset’s neo-victorian styling where modern met classical.
